Cleaning is not the same as disinfection

Disinfection and cleaning are two completely different terms that are often confused. Cleaning involves the physical removal of dirt from surfaces and objects. At best, cleaning will help you get rid of bacteria, but you are much more likely to just smear them. On the other hand, disinfection will definitely destroy bacteria, but that’s not all. Effective disinfectants such as Aqualor H 1000 based on sodium hypochlorite, in addition to bacteria, also destroy viruses and thus prevent the further spread of many infections.
